Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NUAL, operated by Nomad V Group ("Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

NUAL is a business management platform for freelancers providing tools for invoicing, proposals, contracts, client management, project tracking, lead management, and time tracking. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract to use NUAL. By creating an account you represent that you meet these requirements. Use of the Service for business purposes on behalf of an organisation means you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately at info@nomadvgroup.com if you suspect unauthorised access
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is prohibited.

4. Plans, Trials & Payments

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with limited capabilities (3 clients, 3 projects, 5 documents, 20 leads, 5 AI actions). No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, access to creating new records is suspended until you upgrade to a paid plan. Your data is retained for 90 days after trial expiry.

Paid Plans

Paid plans are billed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing you agree to Paddle's terms of service. Prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise stated. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings, then Billing. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy, including our 7-day money-back guarantee on first-time paid subscriptions.

Plan Limits

Each plan has defined limits (clients, projects, documents, leads, AI actions). Limits are enforced server-side. Exceeding limits prevents creation of new records; existing data is never deleted due to a plan downgrade.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
  • Send spam, unsolicited communications, or fraudulent invoices
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated scripts to scrape, crawl, or overload the Service
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission
  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Create fictitious clients or invoices for money laundering or fraud

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

6. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all data, documents, and content you create or upload to NUAL ("Your Content"). By using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content, including invoices issued and contracts sent to your clients.

7. AI Features

NUAL includes AI-powered features (proposal drafting, contract generation, email suggestions) powered by Anthropic's Claude API. By using these features:

  • You acknowledge that AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before sending it to clients
  • Relevant document context is transmitted to Anthropic to generate responses (see our Privacy Policy)
  • AI credits are consumed per use and reset monthly according to your plan

8. Electronic Signatures

Contract signing is facilitated by DocuSeal. Electronic signatures created through NUAL are intended to be legally binding in jurisdictions that recognise e-signatures (including the EU under eIDAS and the US under ESIGN/UETA). You are responsible for confirming the legal validity of e-signatures in your jurisdiction before relying on them.

9. Intellectual Property

NUAL, its logo, design, and all underlying software are owned by Nomad V Group and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the right to use the Service as described.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

NUAL is a productivity tool and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. You should consult qualified professionals for such matters.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOMAD V GROUP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR €100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nomad V Group, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases immediately. Your data is retained for 90 days after termination to allow export, then permanently deleted.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nomad V Group is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

For disputes involving EU consumers, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and close your account before the effective date.
