This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to NUAL, operated by Nomad V Group. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, who is responsible for billing, invoicing, and refund disbursement. By subscribing to a paid plan you agree to both these terms and Paddle's Buyer Terms.
1. Seven-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with NUAL after purchasing your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the date of your first charge. This guarantee applies once per customer and is limited to your first subscription payment only.
To be eligible your account must not have been used to send invoices or proposals to clients in a way that materially benefited from the paid plan features, and your request must be submitted within the 7-day window.
To request a refund under this guarantee, email us at info@nomadvgroup.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the email address associated with your account and the date of your purchase. We will process eligible requests within 5 business days.
2. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app under Settings, then Billing, then Cancel Plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to your paid plan features until that date.
Cancelling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund. If you believe you are eligible for a refund under Section 1, you must submit a separate refund request as described above.
3. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for the 7-day money-back guarantee on the initial payment only. After the 7-day window, annual subscription payments are non-refundable, including for partial months or unused time remaining in the annual period.
If you choose to cancel an annual subscription after the 7-day window, your access continues until the end of the 12-month period that was paid for.
4. Subscription Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual). Renewal charges are not eligible for refund except in the following circumstances:
- The renewal was processed after you had already cancelled your subscription (in which case contact us immediately)
- A technical error on our side or Paddle's side caused a duplicate or incorrect charge
- The charge occurred after a verified account deletion request was submitted
If any of the above applies, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate and process a refund if the circumstances are confirmed.
5. Situations Where Refunds Are Not Issued
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- Requests submitted more than 7 days after the first charge (unless covered by Section 4)
- Subscription renewal payments where no cancellation was in place
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content (proposals, contracts, email suggestions)
- Accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service
- Partial months or unused features within a billing period
- Failure to use the Service or forgetting to cancel before a renewal
- Requests made after a second or subsequent subscription to NUAL
6. Disputed Charges and Chargebacks
If you do not recognise a charge from NUAL on your card statement, please contact us at info@nomadvgroup.com before filing a dispute with your bank. Most unrecognised charges can be resolved quickly and directly.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account. Paddle, as our Merchant of Record, may also contest chargebacks it determines to be invalid under its buyer terms.
7. Refund Processing
All refunds are processed by Paddle on our behalf. Once approved, refunds are returned to your original payment method. Processing times vary by payment method and financial institution, but typically appear within 5 to 10 business days.
You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle when your refund has been initiated. If you do not receive this within 7 business days of approval, please contact us and we will follow up with Paddle directly.
8. Free Trial
NUAL offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. No charges are made during the trial period, so no refund is applicable. If you choose not to upgrade at the end of your trial, your account simply remains on the free tier with trial limits in place.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
